Creators
How creators are checked
- Step 1
Contact check
Applicants prove they control an email address or an Indian mobile number with a one-time code before any profile detail is accepted.
- Step 2
Team review
The Sutra team reviews every application and approves or rejects it. A rejection always carries a written reason.
- Step 3
Public profile
Only approved creators appear in Discover.
Brands
How brands are checked
- Step 1
Business details
Brands submit their business name and GSTIN. The account stays pending until the Sutra team verifies it.
- Step 2
Changes re-check
Changing the business name or GSTIN puts the account back to pending until it is checked again.
- Step 3
Payments
Campaign money is held in escrow and is released to the creator only after the brand approves the work.
Limits
What verified does not mean
Verification confirms who someone is and that the team reviewed them. It does not guarantee campaign results, and follower and reach figures shown on a profile are estimates unless marked otherwise.
