Privacy Policy
Data We Collect
When you use Sutra, we collect account details, campaign briefs, and usage data from brands, and profile, verification and performance data from creators.
How We Use It
We use this data to match brands with creators, run campaigns from brief to delivery, calculate Creator Scores, and improve the marketplace.
Creator Identity & Data Protection
Creator identity — name, handle and photo — is never shown publicly. It is disclosed only after a brand requests an introduction and Sutra approves the match. Creators control what identity information is shared and when.
Brand Data Handling
Campaign briefs and contact details you submit are used only to run your requested campaign and are shared with matched creators only after you approve an introduction.
AI Campaign Planner
Our free AI Campaign Planner reads public pages of the website you enter and sends that text to our AI provider to write your brief. We keep a brief for up to 24 hours so the same site is not planned twice, and use your IP address, held for up to a day, only to apply daily usage limits. If you email a brief to yourself, we save your email address, your website and the brief, send a copy to the Sutra team, and the team may contact you about that campaign. To have a saved brief deleted, write to hello@sutracreators.com.
Sutradhara Chat
Your answers in the Sutradhara chat stay in your browser window until you ask the team to get in touch. When the chat finishes, the options you picked are sent to our AI provider to write the closing message; nothing you typed goes to it except a creator handle. We keep the message it writes for up to an hour so the same answers are not written twice; it is not tied to you. If you choose Submit Requirement or Talk to Our Team, tick the box and send your email address, we save your email, your answers and any note you add, email them to the Sutra team, and the team may contact you about that request. Your IP address is held for up to a day only to apply daily usage limits. To have a saved request deleted, write to hello@sutracreators.com.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see how the site and the Sutradhara chat are used, for example which pages are opened and which chat steps are tapped. It uses a cookie only if you press Allow on the cookie notice; until then, and if you press No thanks, it stores nothing on your device. You can change your answer at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Advertising features are always off. Google still receives the usual details that come with any web request, such as your IP address and browser type. Nothing you type is sent to it: not your email address, your note or a creator handle. When you use a free tool (the profile audit, the campaign planner, the bio drafter or the growth tools) we also keep a short log of that use on our own servers: which tool, when, whether it worked, the profile or website you checked, and a scrambled code made from your IP address so repeat use can be counted. We do not keep your IP address in this log. For each use we also keep what you entered (the profile links, website or answers) and a short summary of the result, your country and state as the network reports them, your device type, and the account email if you were signed in. The Sutra team gets an email alert with these details when a tool is used, so we can follow up. We delete these entries after 90 days. We use them to see how the tools are used, to set fair daily limits and to reach out about your work.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your search filters. We do not sell data to third-party advertisers.
Your Rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, erase it, or, if you are a creator, remove your profile from Sutra. You can also withdraw consent you gave us, such as consent to appear as a featured profile, at any time from your creator dashboard, and the profile goes back to masked straight away. You do not need an account to ask. Use the request form, then check progress with your reference on the status page. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act, because we will not remove or share someone's data on an unverified request.
How Long We Keep Data
Short-lived data is deleted on its own: aI Campaign Planner brief (up to 24 hours); sutra chat closing message (up to 1 hour); iP address, for usage limits (up to 1 day). We have not set a fixed period for other data, such as creator profiles; it stays until you ask us to remove it.
Contact for Privacy Requests and Complaints
